Barcelona, Spain’s second-largest city, is approximately 130 km to the southwest, making Palafrugell easily accessible for international visitors. The town also boasts proximity to the Gavarres Mountains, offering visitors a mix of coastal and mountainous landscapes.
Palafrugell enjoys a Mediterranean climate, characterized by mild winters and warm, dry summers. The best time to visit is during the spring (April to June) or early autumn (September to October), when the weather is pleasant, and the beaches and nature trails are at their most beautiful. Summer is also popular for beachgoers, but it can be hot and crowded during the peak months of July and August.
