Tineo is located in the interior of Asturias, a province in the northern part of Spain, known for its lush green landscapes, rolling hills, and proximity to the Cantabrian Mountains. Situated inland, it is about 70 kilometers west of Oviedo, the capital of Asturias, and approximately 50 kilometers from the northern coast.
