El Arahal: Geographical Location and Climate

El Arahal is situated in the province of Seville, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, southern Spain. It lies approximately 40 kilometers southeast of Seville, a major urban hub, and is nestled in the fertile plains of the Guadalquivir River basin. The town’s location offers easy access to Seville, the Andalusian capital, as well as to other regional destinations such as the coastal cities of Cádiz and Málaga. Though inland, El Arahal is surrounded by a beautiful landscape of olive groves, vineyards, and rolling hills, with the Sierra Morena mountain range to the north.

The climate of El Arahal is Mediterranean, characterized by long, hot summers and mild winters. During the summer months, temperatures can easily reach above 35°C (95°F), making spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) the most pleasant times for visitors. Winter remains mild, with average temperatures rarely dipping below 10°C (50°F), and this season also sees minimal rainfall. The sunny weather throughout most of the year makes El Arahal a year-round destination, particularly appealing for outdoor events and activities.
