Olivares is located in the province of Seville in the Andalusian region of southern Spain. The town lies inland, approximately 20 kilometers northwest of Seville, and is part of the fertile Guadalquivir Valley, which contributes to its scenic landscape and agricultural prosperity. Surrounded by rolling hills and olive groves, the town offers visitors beautiful views of the Andalusian countryside.
Seville, the capital of Andalusia, is the nearest major city and can be reached by car or bus in under 30 minutes. Other significant destinations, such as the coastal city of Huelva and the Sierra Morena mountain range, are within an hour’s drive, giving visitors plenty of options for day trips to both the beaches and the mountains.
Olivares enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. The best time to visit is during the spring (March to May) or autumn (September to November) when the weather is warm but not overwhelming, and the town’s surrounding countryside is lush and green. Summers can be very hot, typical of Andalusia, making it less ideal for outdoor events but perfect for exploring the town’s cool, shaded plazas and historical buildings.
