From the airport, visitors can reach Antigua by car or taxi in less than 20 minutes.
While public transportation is available in the form of buses that connect Antigua to other parts of Fuerteventura, renting a car is the most convenient way to explore the island and its many attractions. The roads are well-maintained, and driving allows visitors to easily visit the beaches, volcanic landscapes, and neighboring towns.
Within Antigua, the town is small enough to explore on foot, with many of the attractions and restaurants within walking distance of each other.
